When is my credit card charged each month or quarter for my subscription?

As you know, databases are published by the 5th business day of each month.

Our system is set up to automatically post charges to our clients’ accounts a few days before that to allow them enough time to be notified in case there is a problem with their credit card account.  Problems such as expirations, closed accounts, etc. occur frequently and we are not notified until they surface.  That way, we have some time to work with clients to correct the situation and ensure that their accounts are current by the actual distribution, so that they do not have to delay receiving their subscription until we have all the necessary information.

Our new system is, of course, far better because it no longer requires payment for the entire year in advance.
